We have a new pulpit minister and teacher.

We would like to welcome Jack English as our new pulpit minister and teacher, along with his wife, Patricia.  They joined us June 6th with the retirement of Frank J. Daniels.  We also want to thank Frank J. Daniels and his wife, Marge, for their time of service here with us.  We appreciate them both so much. They will again be with us whenever Jack English cannot.

Jack English has been preaching for over 50 years and recently retired after 20 years with the Center Street Church of Christ in Fayetteville. He started preaching for the Elkins Church of Christ in June 2021.

Jack was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, has a Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Christian University, and a Master’s degree from Abilene Christian University. He is married 50 years to his wife, Patricia, who is a retired university Math teacher. They have two married daughters, three grandsons, and two granddaughters.

They have lived in the Elkins community for the past 20 years where three of their grandchildren go to school and a son-in-law teaches 6th grade science. Jack teaches a non-denominational Bible class at the Elkins Senior Citizen’s Center on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 10:30 a.m.

Jack also serves as a corporate chaplain for six industries in Northwest Arkansas. He is an avid hunter and fisherman, and an Arkansas Razorback fan.
